Secure Transportation Company, Inc. (“Secure”) knows that your privacy is important to you. Below is our privacy policy for collecting, using, securing, protecting and sharing your information and to explain your privacy rights. Your personal information will not be accessible or disclosed to any third party outside the provision of transportation services on your behalf.
The Commitment: Secure is committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the personal information you give us to respond to requests for transportation and provide the transportation (“Service”) submitted through the Itineris Passenger App (“Application”). Secure does not sell client information.The information we need: When you download the Application, we will ask for your contact information and certain information related to your healthcare plan and provider. This information is only used for creating an account, validating your enrollment in a healthcare plan, submitting a request for transportation and servicing your account. The personal information you will provide may include, but is not limited to: name, birthdate, address, zip code, telephone number, email address and certain health plan information.
Consent to use your information: By using the Service or submitting personal information, you agree that Secure may collect, use and disclose such information solely in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Use of your information: The personal information that you give us when you create an account and request transportation is only used to complete your service request and to service your account. Secure may also provide the information to affiliated companies that provide administrative and processing services for Secure. We will also share the information with your healthcare plan provider. Secure will also use the information to monitor the usage of the Service and the Application. We will also use the information to inform you about the Service or other related information. We will use the data to create reports and conduct analysis.
Share information with Service Providers: Secure may share your personal information with Service Providers to provide the Service, to contact you or to help support the provision of the Service. Service Providers refer to third-party companies or individuals engaged by the Secure to provide or to facilitate the Service on behalf of Secure or to perform services related to the Service.
What we don't do: Secure will never sell, share, rent or otherwise release your information to third parties other than what is stated in this policy. We may use the personal information you provide us to send you communications about the Service or changes in Services.
Use of "cookies": We may use “cookies” to help personalize your use of the Application and the requesting of the Service and to obtain information about your use of the Application. We may also use your IP address to track usage and administer the Service.
Opt-Out of Email and Mobile Updates: You may have the opportunity to elect and receive communications from Secure. You will only receive email or mobile updates and promotions if you elect to receive them. If at any time to decide you no longer want to receive these communications, you can opt-out by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, update your account, or provide a text message to privacy@securetransportation.com.
How your information is protected: Whenever you create an account, make a request for the Service, utilize the Application, or make an inquiry with Secure, it is processed and forwarded through a secure server. Secure requires that persons or parties who may access your information protect that information and not disclose it. Secure has physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Secure will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the information was collected and to comply with applicable laws. Your consent to use for such purpose remains valid following termination of the relationship.
Links to other sites: The Application may have links to web-sites or other applications. Please be aware that Secure is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites or applications. Secure ’s privacy policy cannot and does not apply to external websites or applications.
Retention of Your Personal Data: Secure will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. Secure may also retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of the Service, or if Secure is legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods. Law enforcement: Under certain circumstances, Secure may be required to disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency). California Privacy Rights: Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents have the right to request in writing from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship (1) a list of the categories of personal information, such as name, address, e-mail address, and the type of services provided to that customer, that a business has disclosed to third parties (including affiliates that are separate legal entities) during the immediately preceding calendar year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes, and (2) the names and addresses of all such third parties.
